As usual we spent one day from the Midsummer`s weekend in Rovaniemi Int.Dog Show. This time
our group judged on Saturday . We had Pablo, Aurora and Saimi with us and there were also Elli,
Julius and Iiro. Julius aka Baskethill`s Jimmy-The-One took part in junior class and he got Excellent.
Next in champion class were Iiro aka Baskethill`s Ironside Brave and Pablo. Both of them got excellent
and Iiro took 3rd place in that class. Our boys didn`t get placed in the best dog competion. Elli aka
Baskethill`s Jolly Jumper took part in a big junior class and she wasn`t in her best show mood. She
got VG. Aurora was second of our bitches and she competed for the first time in the intermediate
class. Aurora won her class with excellent. And last but not least was Saimi and her tricks:) She was
2nd in champion class. Best bitch competions class was a quite big but in spite of that Aurora won it.
She got her 4th CC and first cacib, just a week after she got her 15 months anniversary:) At the end
Aurora was BOS. Warm congratulations to Marjaana and Janika for a nice day with your BOB dog and
and a best breeders group. And thank you again Kirsi for your help to show our Saimi and for the
phtographs.

Early on Saturday morning (13.6.) I drove to Keminmaa with Aurora for to spend the hole day in a
field trial test . There was also Liisa with Elli and both girls, Elli and Aurora, did a very good job.
They passed their field trial tests without any problems. Congratulations to Liisa who has done a
nicely work with Elli.

The same day Iiris aka Baskethill`s Ivory And Ebony did her second VAHI-track and as always she
did it well and passed this second test too. Your dogs Ulla are real track noses, so thank you for your
work with Iiris:)

And then we go to Norway and we got nice results from Nelvana. There were two shows, one on
Saturday and the other on Sunday. Pablo`s puppies showed very well. On Saturday Nelvana`s
Special Design aka Bajaz was BOS and on Sunday he was BOB, BIG 3. So he has 2 CC`s now and his
sister Ylva aka Nelvana`s Cool Creation was BOS on Sunday with CC. Huge congratulations to Siv
and Dag for such a marvelous show weekend. Pablo sents a big lick to both of his pups:)

We spent last weekend at Karkku Springerspaniel`s Annual Specialty Show. The judges came from
UK as always. Puppies, junior and veteran classes were judged Mr Colin Woodward, famous kennel
Wadeson`s owner and the others judge was Mrs Diana Conrad from Strathnaver kennel. We had
hired two cottages just near by show place. It was a luxuriously to stay in that kind of place. On
Saturday evening Liisa and Johanna brought our tent to Karkku. We set up the tent in the evening
with Mika`s help so everthing was ready for the next day`s show.

The show day was perfect with sunny weather and a nice wind. It was so nice to see all the ess-
people there. I saw Pablo`s Lo`cust puppies for the first time and what kind of appearance they
made:) The male puppy, Lo`cust Born To Rock was BOB puppy and later on he came BIS-puppy. His
sister Lo`cust Born Like Lilac came BOS-puppy. Congratulations to Tuija for such a nice start to the
show career. It was easy to see who is they father. Pablo took part in champion class and he got
excellent which wasn`t very easy to get in that show. Jeffe went to 4th place in champion class and
was second best mover, congratulations to Kirsi and Jeffe:) At the same time was junior class bitches
in the other ring. I was a quite busy when I ran between these two rings. Thank you Nina for
showing our Pablo in the competitons class, Kirsi in progeny class and to Johanna for keeping Pablo
and Aurora in dog park:) I was running and changing between Pablo and Aurora and back.
Aurora`s junior class was a very big again, 11 entries. All junior dogs and bitches got VG same as
veterans so Aurora got her very first VG in her show career. Aurora was second and Elli wasn`t
placed among the top 4. Pablo had a progeny group too and it was placed 3rd. This group consisted
of Lo`cust Born To Rock, Lo`cust Born Like Lilac, Baskethill`s Jubilee Blossom and Baskethill`s
Jolly Jumper, all very young dogs but they managed well:)

The day was a really nice altogether and especially for Tarja. Her beautiful bitch Sophie aka
Adamant`s Let Me See was BOB and she was runner-up in this competition. Huge congratulations to
Tarja and Sophie and also to Pablo`s son Henry who got his last CC and only field trial test is missing
from his champion title.

On Thursday we spent the most unbelievably successful day in Rovaniemi Group Show. The weather
was very shiny, company was great and results were a really memorable:) It was so nice to see Kaapo
aka Baskethill`s Jin Jack Flash in this show and what a result: he was the best dog, got CC and he
was finally BOS. His father Pablo won the champion class and was 3rd best dog. Then there were our
little girls Anna aka Baskethill`s Jet Set Beauty, Elli aka Baskethill`s Jolly Jumper and our Aurora,
Baskethill`s Jubilee Blossom. All our youngsters got excellent and Aurora won a big (8 entries) junior
class and Elli was 3rd. Finally our Aurora was the best bitch, Elli was 4th and Pablo`s daughter
Adamant`s Take This Dance was 3rd.Then Aurora and Kaapo competed of the best of breed and this
time Aurora was BOB and she was even 3rd in a big 7/8 group. Thank you Marjo for helping me to
show Pablo and Kaapo. The day was unbelievably nice as you see from these results too.
Congratulations and big hugs to Hanna for letting me to show your hansom Kaapo. Thank you Ulla
for your chatting company during our drive from Pudasjärvi to Rovaniemi and congratulations for
Elmeri`s result. And lastly congratulations to Marjaana for your BIS-breeding group:))

Our show tourney continued on Saturday. We were in Pietarsaari Group show with nice company.
We got Lara aka Baskethill`s Jersey Lily and Sanna with us too and ofcourse we took a new photo
of Lara. First we showed our Pablo and only he got excellent and was best male. Next were our little
girls in show ring and they really showed their trics espesially Lara and Aurora. They reminded me
about of their mother Saimi in her youth:) and little bit older too. this time it was Aurora who beated
her sister Elli and Lara was 3rd. Then was Saimi`s champion class and she came 2nd and also was
second best bitch. Our youngsters got nice results too, Aurora was 4th best bitch and got CC an Elli
got resCC. Our breeders group consisted of Saimi, Aurora, Lara and Elli and this group got HP with a
nice critique. But unfortunately we didn`t stay at the group final because of the long drive. We had a
very nice day and congratulations to Riikka with your beautiful bitch for your great BOB result:)) and
huge thanks to Anne for your help in showing our little wild princess:))

On Sunday we heared very nice news. Our Russia princess Saima aka Baskethill`s Jewel To You
took part in all breed show in Hamina. Saima`s result was very good indeed. She got excellent 2
in a quite big junior class. Congratulations and a big hug to Katya and Saima you both did a very
good work:))

And what did Iiris, Baskethill`s Ivory And Ebony do on Sunday! She took part in blood track test
(VAHI). The test simulates the tracking of an injured elk. She did it well and passed the test.
Thank you Ulla for your enthusiastic tracking work.

We spent a very very nice day at Oulainen on Sunday. The sun was shining for quite long but we
got also a little bit rain. The rain wasn`t so bad because the results were so nice to almost all of us.
The place was a spors field covered with lawn so it was wonderful for dog shows.
First of us were Pablo and Iiro in the ring as always . Pablo got excellent 1 and Iiro was 3rd.
Pablo was also best male this time. Then were our little girls and the day was perfect for Elli and
Liisa again:)) Elli was first and Aurora was 2nd both got excellent. Then was Iiris aka Fin Tr Ch
Baskethill`s Ivory and Ebony and she won the working class ladies. Last but certainly not least was
our old lady Klaara aka Fin Ch Baskethill`s Golden Blossom. Her show figure wasn`t really perfect but
she enjoyed every minute of the show atmosphere. So she got excellent 1 and was 3rd best bitch
after young relatives Elli and Aurora. As I said it was Elli`s great day. First she beated her sister
and was best bitch and Aurora was 2nd. Lastly she beated her father and was BOB with 2nd CC. Huge
hugs and congrats to Elli and Liisa and thank you all for helping me to show our girls. Big thanks to
my brother Janne for the phtographs.

Liisa with Elli and Marjo with Anna represented Baskethill`s team in Kalajoki Group Show.
Elli aka Baskethill`s Jolly Jumper got her first CC and was best bitch 3:). Her sister Anna aka
Baskethill`s Jet Set Beauty got excellent too and was BB4 with resCC! Big hugs to both owners
you have done so nice work with your girls. I was so trilled to wait for your results from Kalajoki.
Meanwhile I was climbing up and down the Rokua hills. The scenery was unblievebly magnificent.
We were hiking in a party of thirteen and about nine dogs. I have Saimi with me because our
Aurora got her seasons. Thank you Maiju and all the others for your nice company during that hike.

Early in the Sunday morning I started my drive to Vaasa. I had father Pablo and his daughter
Aurora with me. Our Saimi was entered also to this show, but unfortynately she didn`t find her show
figure:) on time. Pablo didn`t like this Botnia hall at all inspite of this magnificent show place.
He got VG4 in champion class. Iiro aka Baskethill`s Ironside Brave liked the show very much and
moved with a flying style, as you see from the photo below. Iiro got EXC2 in working class Our little
Aurora and her sister Elli competed in junior class and they did it well. After quite hard copetition
Aurora got 2nd place just after Gloria and Elli got also EXC and she got 4th place. Well done girls,
Aurora and Gloria took a little wrestle moment after the placements. Huge congratulations again to
Tarja and her great team, almost family team. Pablo sends huge congratulations to his son Fanwans
Balance of Life for his resCC and to his son Henry`s daughter Gloria for her resCC. It was so nice to

On Saturday we were at Tervola Group show with Aurora . There we met Liisa with Elli, Hanna with
Kaapo and Marjo with her Anna. Thank you again for coming to show our J-pups.The day wasn`t

Another day and another direction. On Sunday we spent the hole day in Kajaani`s group show. And
it was Tessu`s aka Adamant`s Damask Rose`s day again:)) Luckily for her she got her magic 3rd
and she only needs to pass the field trial test to get Finnish Champion title. Not bad for an almost 12
years old lady. Congratulations again to family Heikkuri:)) and thank you Anette for helping me to
show our breeder group.

Pablo was in his best show mood and he was BOB and Group4. Iiro aka Baskethill`s Ironside Brave was
3rd in champion class with excellent. Girls then....Aurora was 2nd best bitch after Tessu:)) and got her
4th resCC. Aurora`s sisters Elli was 2nd and Anna was 3rd in junior class. Our breeder group consisted
of girls: Saimi, Aurora, Anna and Elli. Our team was BIS3:)) Thank you a lot for bringing your girls to
our breeder group. And at last a big hug to Ulla and her Elmeri, because he got his first CC and I thing
I have earned my coffe and cake:)) and thanks a lot for showing our Saimi. It isn`t so easy, I now that.

On Saturday early in the morning we started towards Haapavesi . The weather was so cold and windy.
The ring started at 9.00 am and we were at home already by noon, so we were quite quick:). We had
only Aurora with us and she was 3rd best bitch and got her 3rd resCC after almost 12 years old Tessu.
Congratulations to Heikkuris` you had a really great day:))

My winter holiday began just after Kinnula group show. Early on Monday morning we started our trip
to Kuopio to visit Tuija and Risto. I had only Aurora with me and it was her hight altitude camp
with boys Juha-Pekka and Tom:). She managed it well as you can see from those photos above. It was
lovely to see Tuija and all my little friends at Upgate`s. Unfortunately Risto wasn`t at home, because
of his China trip:) We took long walks with the dogs on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. As
always Tuija had cooked a great dinner, so now I must watch my eating:). Tuija`s sister Heli had
made delicious Karelian pies.........hmmm. We took some pics of Sawanne and Aurora, Aurora`s
official 1-year photo:) Thank you Tuija again for your hospitality, your company and of course for
helping me to take photos of Aurora.

Today we did a trip to Kinnula Group Show. The weather was nice and shiny and it was a very good
show place. Pablo was 3rd best male and so was Aurora in bitches. Congratulations to Heli and
Marjukka you had a very succesful day. Aurora and her mum say thank you for nice words to our
lively young little princess. Aurora`s brother Kaapo, Baskethill`s Jin Jack Flash took part in an
unofficial show in Rovaniemi. Hanna and Kaapo did it very well. Kaapo was second out of all blue
ribbon adults. Huge congratulations to both of you, you are a cleaver couple.

We got some very nice photos from our puppy owners. The oldest of puppies was Kiira our Kaisla`s
and Klaara`s sister. Thank you Heidi for sending this photo. Then we got a head shot of talented
track nouse Iiris, so thanks a lot of the photos Ulla:) And latest pics came from Marjo taken on last
weekend from Kaapo and Anna. They both took part in a Match Show at Rovaniemi. Kaapo was 5th of
blue ribbon puppies and Anna was 4th of red ribbon puppies. Congratulatins to both puppy owners
Hanna and Marjo and thank you from these photos. And thank you Liisa from Elli`s 1-year picture.

We, Liisa and me with Elli, Aurora and Pablo went to Tampere on Saturday to the annual Int.Dog
Show. There were huge 7000 entries and Ess entry was 57. We saw very nice visiters from Russia,
Katya and Saima. It was really nice to see our little Russian princess with her owner Katya. We took a
few pics from Pablo and her girls and ofcourse our rarely seen Saima. Pablo took part in champion
class and he was 3rd. Pablo wasn`t in his best show mood, perhaps her daughters took all strength
out of they daddy:) Bitches` junior class was a big one with 10 participant. The best young girl was
Tarja`s Gloria and our Aurora was 2nd and Elli was 4th with excellent. Saima got VG this time.
Tarja`s day was really excellent: Sophie was BOB and BIG4, congratulations again from Muhos:)) The
trip to Tampere was so nice as always. These two days went by so quickly and our drive home was
soon over with two quiet ladys chating all the way:) Thank you Liisa for your really good company during
this show trip and Aurora says, thank you Elli, you were the best play mate for me.

Today our Aurora with her siblings Anna, Elli, Lara, Saima, Windy, Julius and Kaapo have
celebrated their 1-year birthday. Aurora knows that cakes and sausages belong to the birthday
table and she got it. We hope that you all J-pups owner`s have had a very nice moments and
many memorable events during this first year. We thanks to you for your nice work and a very good
care of Saimi`s puppies and huge hugs to all of you:)

Saima, Baskethill`s Jewel To You took part in Int.Dog Show at St-Petersburg. She was BOB-junior
and ended BOS. It was a nice birthday present to Katya, who has sent this photo below.

We had an extremely nice Saturday here in Finland and so did Katya and Saima in Russia. Baskethill`s
J-puppies were on the road;)) Saima`s photo from that show in Moscow is below. But first of all our
trip to Raahe. I got Timo with me and Pablo and Saimi with their daughter Aurora, some kind of family
trip. It was Aurora`s 3rd time in junior class. First it was Julius`, Baskethill`s Jimmy-The-One,
turn, he was second with VG in his class. Next was Pablo`s turn and he was also second and ended as
4th best dog. Then came our young ladies in junior class, which was a quite big class, 7 entries. Some
of our youngsters keep on Christmas memories on their bodies:) More training in the forest and then
the body will be tighter. Junior class was our Aurora`s and she came first and she won also the best
bitch class and got her first CC. The dog was BOB and our little Aurora was BOS. The other girls: Elli,
Baskethill`s Jolly Jumper was 4th with VG, Lara, Baskethill`s Jersey Lily got VG too and Anna dear,
Baskethill`s Jet-Set Beauty got G. I`m so happy for Aurora`s first CC and thank you all for your kind
words during that show. Last but certainly not least showed up our Saimi, Baskethill`s
Highlandblossom. She was in a very good show mood and did her speciall tricks as always. Jumping
up and running happily with her waving tail:)) I think that Marja had a little bit hard time handling our
Saimi;) but she managed it very well, Saimi was 4th best bitch. And big big congratulations to Heli and
Proppen for your huge wins on Saturday. And big hugs and thanks to my extra hands Marika and Marja,
you really helped us to show our girls.

And then we go to Saima`s day:) In Moscow there was a big Championship show of spaniel club 2009.
There was 33 ess and 8th junior bitches. The judge was Keith Costello from England. Saima, Baskethill`s
Jewel To You competed very well and she got excellent and was BOB-junior. The BOS junior was Goya
Optimist. Congratulations to Katya and Saima, you both do a very good work together. As you see the
day was perfect for us. Thank you all our puppy owners without you this wouldn`t be possible and
thanks again for those helpfull hands too:))

We got great news from Katya and Saima again. That show was held In St-Petersburg on Saturday.
Saima, Baskethill`s Jewel To You, took part for the first time in the official class. She got excellent
in junior class and also got her first junCC and was BOB-junior. She competed very well in BIS-junior
competition and she was among the 8th best junior.

Kaapo and Anna with their owners took part in match show in Rovaniemi. Kaapo, Baskethill`s Jin
Jack Flash was 3rd from all blue ribbon winners and Anna, Baskethill`s Jet Set Beauty got also blue
ribbon and was 5th.

We enjoyed a very nice weather and took a long walk here and there again:) Naturally I took some

Yesterday we were in Kajaanin Int.Dog Show. This Kajaani show started the new show year 2009. I
drove to Kajaani with Tarja, Sophie, Pihla and little Aurora and Pablo came with my mother and
brother Janne who took most of the photos from in this show. Thank you dear brother;) for being
the photographer.

First of all it was Julius` and Kaapo`s turn to start this show. Both of them did it very well: Julius
won his class with excellent and was best dog 4 and got resCC, well done Julius and Laura.
Kaapo got VG this time, but when you Hanna keep up training, I thing you will get better results
too. Next one was their father; Pablo aka Rindi`s Pablo Picasso was 3rd in champion class and
was the first one to drop out from best dog placements. Next turn was our young ladies in junior class.
Aurora came 2nd with excellent and Elli aka Baskethill`s Jolly Jumper was 3rd and got also excellent.
Lara aka Baskethill`s Jersey Lily got VG and I thing that little jogging will help her figure:)) Last of
our team was Pihla in champion class. She came 4th with excellent and she didn`t like the atmosphier
at all. Tarja`s Sophie was second best bitch, congratulations Tarja for such a nice result;) Our breeders
group consisted of our young ladies and little bit older Pihla and we took 3rd place with hp. Thank you
again Liisa and Sanna for you help and especially thanks to Nyyti for helping me to show our girls. And
at last a huuge congratulations to Sanna with your dogs, you took all from Kajaani:))

While we enjoyed a very nice weather and walked here and there over the fields and forests our Pablo`s
offsprings were really busy. There was a group show in Ilomantsi 6.1.09 and two Pablo`s puppies got CC:
Wastage`s All-Time Wish got her first CC and her brother Wastage`s Allways Action got his second CC,
only one is missing from Wallu:)) Congratulations to the dogs owners and huge congrats to Katja, puppies
breeder.Yesterday it also kept a match show and our J-puppies took part in this show. Lara aka Baskethill`s
Jersey Lily and Elli, Baskethill`s Jolly Jumper got red ribbons and Julius, Baskethill`s Jimmy-The-One got
blue ribbon and ended up BIS4. Congratulations to all for these results and perhaps a little less food after
Christmas got good improve all our figures:))
